Who we're looking for
Toyota's Digital Engineering Design Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Digital Engineering Class 'A" Surface Modeler.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop high quality Class "A" surface for interior components based on engineering hardpoints.
Reporting to the Digital Engineering Design Manager the person in this role will support the Digital Engineering Design department's objective to achieve design studio's styling theme while incorporating all engineering/manufacturing requirements.

What you'll be doing
Design Class "A" surface from point cloud or scan data
Create first flange and "B" surface to generate 3D style solid
Incorporate manufacturing feasibility criteria
Design Class "A" surface from engineering hardpoint sections
Repair and surface clean-up
Create Class "A" surface from studio sketches/renderings
Design of 3D modeling for interior trim components

What you bring
Class A surface or digital modeling experience
Automotive interior trim experience
Technical knowledge of injection molded plastics
Experience with CATIA V5 freestyle, GSD, and part design workbenches
Mentor other team members
Added bonus if you have:
Associates Degree (or higher)
Soft trim design experience
